Anthropic Brings Claude to Microsoft Word in Beta for Team and Enterprise Users
Anthropic is bringing its AI model Claude directly into Microsoft Word. Following its previously released add-ins for Excel and PowerPoint, users can now also work with Claude inside Word. Claude for Word is currently in beta for Team and Enterprise plans.
The add-in can rewrite selected text, respond to comments inside a document, and insert edits as tracked changes that users can review and accept or reject individually. It is designed to preserve existing formatting and also supports sharing context across the Word, PowerPoint, and Excel add-ins.
Claude now edits directly in Microsoft Word — reading your comments, making changes as native tracked changes, and preserving your heading styles, numbering, and defined terms so the rest of the document stays untouched.
Claude for Word is available through the Microsoft Marketplace and supports .docx and .docm file formats.
